A similar thing happens when we pray. We are weak and do not know how to pray, so the Spirit steps in and articulates prayers for us with groaning too profound for words. Don’t you know that He who pursues and explores the human heart intimately knows the Spirit’s mind because He pleads to God for His saints to align their lives with the will of God?

Let's pray. Lord, thank you for your word. Thank you for your Spirit. Lord, there are days when we come to you aching and hurt. There are other days when we come joyful and optimistic and yet your spirit is in both those things. You see into our hearts and we thank you that the Spirit helps us to translate, to intercede, to put to words, to put to action and your will, even when we can't see it. We thank you for the circumstances, the people, the music, movies, and the things we experience every day that have the ability to point us back to you. They put us on the right path toward redemption, reconciliation and furthering your kingdom. We thank you for that opportunity every day. In your name, amen.
