Welcome to Elmhurst CRC's Daily Dose of the Word of God. It's Wednesday, June 4, the first day of the Elmhurst Farmers Market hosted by Elmhurst CRC!My name is Kyle Olson and I serve here as the Technical Director. I'll be reading from Romans, chapter 10, verses 14 and 15.

How can people invoke His name when they do not believe? How can they believe in Him when they have not heard? How can they hear if there is no one proclaiming Him? How can some give voice to the truth if they are not sent by God? As Isaiah said, “Ah, how beautiful the feet of those who declare the good news of victory, of peace and liberation.”

Let's pray. Lord, thank you for this day. Thank you for your word. Thank you for the scripture that continues to speak to us, to challenge us, to ask questions, just as we may start to feel satisfied in our faith. The Holy Spirit makes us restless and we pray that that points us in the direction to share your good news - not only to just be your hands and feet, but to talk about it, to be in conversation, which still means to ask the big questions, but also to be a person that others can trust in. We thank you for filling our minds and our hearts with your Spirit and the good news. In your name, amen.
