Welcome to Elmhurst CRC's daily dose of the Word of God. It's Wednesday, March 15, and Sunday is coming. This week, we're journeying with Jesus toward the cross, stumbling along with the blind man. This is Kyle Olson And I'll be reading from the voice translation of Psalm 23. You know, that Psalm 23.

Kyle Olson  0:33

The Eternal is my shepherd, he cares for me always. He provides me rest in rich, green fields beside streams of refreshing water. He soothes my fears; He makes me whole again, steering me off worn, hard paths     to roads where truth and righteousness echo His name. Even in the unending shadows of death’s darkness, I am not overcome by fear. Because you are with me in those dark moments, near with your protection and guidance, I am comforted. You spread out a table before me, provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies; You care for all my needs, anointing my head with soothing, fragrant oil, filling my cup again and again with your grace. Certainly your faithful protection and loving provision will pursue me where I go, always, everywhere. I will always be with the Eternal, in your house forever.

Kyle Olson  1:47

Let's pray. Lord, thank you for your word. Thank you that you care for all our needs, wherever we go - always, everywhere. Lord, help us to remember you, not only when we are blessed (feeling like everything is going our way), but also in those dark moments. To know that you are with us, and that you are protecting us and guiding us through. Lord, we are amazed at the care and concern that you have for the smallest of us, and that you provide a space for rest and that you demand it as one of your commandments. Thank you for your grace, and your unending mercy as you keep us on roads where truth and righteousness echo your name. Amen.
